Dr. Cole W Thornton, PT, DPT
I’m a graduate of Fresno State’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. I’ve worked in outpatient therapy clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and in the hospital on nearly every unit, including the burn, intensive care, cardiopulmonary, oncology, and neurologic rehab units.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist I worked in emergency medicine as an EMT. Prior to that, I went to graduate school for music. I live in downtown Sacramento with my wife, a veterinarian, our two daughters, and our two cats.

Dr. Heide Comm, PT, DPT, CWC
I graduated from Loma Linda University in 2010 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I’ve dedicated the majority of my career to pediatrics, through both early intervention in-home therapy and clinic-based therapy. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with children of all ages with various diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, hypotonia, torticollis, toe walking, orthopedic conditions, and developmental delays. I believe in a whole-child approach to therapy, which takes into consideration all aspects of a child, not just the physical impairments. Pediatrics has allowed me to develop an eye for abnormal movement and alignment, be creative in therapy, and provide family education and support. In addition to pediatrics, I have experience in a Pilates-based outpatient setting and home health care. I am also a Certified Wellness Coach through Catalyst Coaching Institute, and a trained facilitator of the Love and Logic parenting curriculum.
On a personal note, I am originally from Alaska where I developed a love for the great outdoors. I studied and played volleyball at Pacific Union College in northern California, which is where I met my husband. I also spent a year studying abroad in Argentina to learn Spanish and travel. After completing physical therapy school, my husband and I moved to Colorado. We had our two children there, and then in 2018 found ourselves settling back in California. We love going on family adventures at the beach and in the mountains with our beloved dog. I also enjoy yoga, running, paddle boarding, and coaching volleyball.
